The bulk of the records were kept by council director Jose H. Trejo (1977-1989). They document the administration and activities of the council and reflect its educational, social, economic, and political services to the Hispanic community in Minnesota. The 1990-1993 records include materials of director Eduardo Wolle. A few published itesm were created after the council's change to the Minnesota Chicano Latino Affairs Council in mid-1996.
